Russian-born artist Nikolaj Arndt uses chalk and pigment to create awesome works of anamorphic street art, transforming blank stretches of city pavement into scenes that appear to come right up out of the ground or seem to put the viewer at risk of falling in. The best part is watching people interact with the artwork, making the optical illusions even more convincing.
