Holy cannoli, Batman! This monstrous dessert was created by the folks at Golden Cannoli in Somerville, Massachusetts. It was featured at the 2011 New England Dessert Showcase, which took place at the Sheraton in Copley Square, Boston.

The colossal cannoli, measuring 10 feet in length and weighing 300 pounds, was an attempt to break the record for the World’s Largest Cannoli.

“…unfortunately, their attempt was foiled after the metal tube they used to mold the shell stuck to the deep fried dough and could not be removed for proper display.”

Despite the disappointment, the cannoli was still an awesome sight. Valerie Bono, co-owner of Golden Cannoli, said that they plan to reorganize and try again next year to break the record.
