Did you ever find yourself wishing you had a way to tell the world how you’re feeling without having to say a word? Dogs have a built-in mood indicator thanks to their wonderful tails. Why don’t humans have tails too? We could throw our mood rings away and rely on our tails instead.

Well, thanks to Shota Ishiwatari, creator of expressive cat ears controlled by the wearer’s brain, we might just get our wish. This is “Tailly”, the tail that wags when you get excited. It’s controlled by the wearer’s heart rate. The device is currently seeking funding via Kickstarter. If you pledge at least £60 (~$96 USD), and assuming the project reaches its funding goal, you can reserve your vert own Tailly.
