If you’re a fan of Edward Gorey then you’re probably familiar with his wonderfully macabre alphabet series, The Gashlycrumb Tinies, wherein each letter describes and depicts the untimely demise of 26 unfortunate children.
We were delighted to learn that Clive Barker, English author, director, visual artist, and master of the macabre in his own right, is currently creating an impressively dark Edward Gorey-inspired alphabet of his own. The verse is Barker’s and the illustrations are by Paulo Andreas Lorca.
Be sure to keep an eye on Clive Barker’s official Facebook page/gallery for new additions to the series.
