If Liberace had commissioned his own helicopter, we think it might’ve looked a lot like the awesome pink and gold aircraft you see here.

This splendid machine is the Lilicoptère, a Bell 47 helicopter that’s been sumptuously adorned with dyed ostrich feathers and countless rhinestones. The Lilicoptère was created by artist Joana Vasconcelos as a vision of what Marie Antoinette might ride in were she alive today. (This does then beg the impudent question, would she eat cake in it too?)

"The interior features intricate woodwork, gilding, and custom upholstery embroidered with Marie Antoinette’s initials. The sculptural installation was part of the artist’s 2012 solo exhibition at the Palace of Versaille."
