The first time we took a look at Belgian artist Wim Delvoye’s awesomely and ornate large-scale metal sculptures of construction vehicles, they were all perfectly shiny and new.

"Inspired by Gothic architecture, the massive laser-cut Corten steel structures break the boundaries between constructing tools and resulting art. They appear to be one and the same, each truck mimicking a sort of mobile cathedral."

We had a feeling that they would probably look even more incredible after being exposed to the elements and taking on a weathered patina. Sure enough, with a bit of age, these rusty behemoths look even more magnificent and reminiscent of grand old Gothic cathedrals.
