Hong Kong-based sculptor Johnson Cheung-shing Tsang created this awesomely imaginative and beautifully executed ceramic piece, which depicts a mighty dragon encircling and constricting a vase with its long body. Entitled A Painful Pot, Tsang describes his creation by saying that he, “wanted to create a porcelain sculpture that expressed how he felt about his country.”

Tsang’s first solo exhibition will take place later this year at the Taiwan Yingge Ceramics Museum from December 7, 2013 to Januart 19, 2014.
