We love this awesome skull made from repurposed skateboard decks by Japanese artist Haroshi (previously featured here). The braces and gold tooth are nice touches. Haroshi is opening his second solo show at Jonathan Levine Gallery in New York on January 12. We wish we could attend.

Sometimes one person’s broken trash is another person’s raw material for making something awesome. This happy, wind-blown dog head was sculpted out of old skateboards by Japanese artist Haroshi. We’ve featured Haroshi’s work at least twice before in the form of a reaching Hand and a pretty spectacular Moose.
