Yago Partal, a graphic artist based in Barcelona, has created an awesome photo series entitled Zoo Portraits, depicting a wide variety of animals who all share two things in common: they like dressing up in stylish clothing and posing for fashion portraits.
There are lots of different animals in the series and you can purchase prints of the photos via Yago’s online shop. We love each and every one of them.

We’ll concede that the cat in this ridiculously cute photo appears less than thrilled about the hug it’s receiving from its affectionate sloth friend, but we’re guessing that’s simply because it took the sloth so incredibly long to wrap its long loving arms around its feline pal. Just look at the smile on the sloth’s face. Best. Hug. Ever.

Animals from six different species were given six different synthesizers in this wonderful video by Håkan Lidbo. The video is a promo for the Volt electronic music festival in Sweden, which opened on June 9th.
Three different species of monkeys, plus lemurs, meerkats, and sloths. The sloths get a keytar! And the baboons are so into their particular synth, that one of them eventually tries to eat it. It’s so much awesomeness in one short video, we can hardly stand it.
Less talk, more musical monkeys!

This awesomely cute baby sloth (slothlet? slothling?) wants to make it perfectly clear that there is nothing the least bit sinful about it.

Sloths don’t often come down from their trees, but this one decided to come down and try to cross a road in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Why does a sloth cross a road? To climb another tree and eat leaves!
It’s a good thing the sloth police were on hand to assist…
