Sure, our new Eagle Talons look fantastic with our Eagle Mask, but we think they are just as amazing on their own. So, we came up with a list of things that are WAY MORE AWESOME when you’re wearing Eagle Talons. As you can see, listening to metal music, perching, teaching, picking pumpkins, being surprised, doing customer service, eating lunch and even playing prog-rock on multiple keyboards are all improved by having talons.
Joyce Lin is a student at the Rhode Island School of Design and in her spare time she creates awesome interactive kinetic sculptures like the beautiful flying fish and bird study pieces pictured here. Although the design and construction process must’ve been painstaking, they were made using simple materials such as popsicle sticks, mylar and tracing vellum.
Speaking about her work she says, “When people view and activate my sculptures, I would like them to feel a kind of childlike awe and wonderment while being reminded that we are part of an infinite chain of systems within systems.”

Last year we posted about Josh Sundquist’s awesome Leg Lamp costume based on the “major award” from the 1983 movie A Christmas Story. For Halloween this year the rapper, motivational speaker, math nerd, and Paralympic champion has outdone himself with an outstanding flamingo costume.
We love the concept, execution, and that amazing hot pink bodysuit. And we hope that Josh doesn’t spend so much time upside-down on Halloween that he misses out on all the candy and ends up with a head rush instead. Candy beats a head rush every time.
Let’s pay a visit to the Department of Teeny-weeny Wonders where we’ll discover this extraordinarily tiny origami crane created by Joaquin Baldwin, who works as an animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Measuring a mere three millimiters in length (go grab a ruler to see just how incredibly wee that is), Joaquin used an X-Actor knife and a six-millimeter square of delicate Japanese gampi paper to make this cute paper bird.

Polish street artists Sainer and Bezt from the ETAM Cru (previously featured here) recently finished yet another massive and completely awesome mural in Warsaw, Poland. Of course our favourite part is the organ grinder monkey wearing a dashing little vest and fez.
